Delete your MOTION account

You can delete your MOTION account and everything in it at any time. There are two ways.

In the app

Open MOTION and go to Profile → Privacy → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate.

Without the app

If you've uninstalled MOTION or can't sign in, email support@motionapp.app from the email address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. Your account will be deleted within 7 days, and you'll get a reply confirming it.

What gets deleted

• Your account, email address, display name and username.
• Your profile details: sex, date of birth, height, weight and goals.
• Every meal, meal photo and weigh-in you've logged.
• Your leaderboard entry and points.

Nothing is kept afterwards. Database backups may hold a copy for a short period as part of normal operation, but they are not used to restore deleted accounts.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — that's managed by Apple or Google Play. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings so you aren't charged again.
